“A horse gallops with his lungs, perseveres with his heart, and wins with his character”,

A quote shared by Federico Tesio, an Italian breeder of Thoroughbred horses.

Through the eyes of Mila, horses are a beautiful journey worthy of their own story. The first time Mila sat on a horse, it was evident that a window to her heart had been opened. Although she was only three years old, a passion was ignited, and this spark changed our lives forever.

Mila began her journey in the equestrian world, both in the barn and in the arena. She has continued to excel with concentration on the Paso Fino horse breed, alongside her family and coach, Coral Rodriguez.

As A Rider, These Are A Few Of Her Accolades:

  • 1st Place Hispanic Heritage Show, November 2022

  • Participation & selection for Team USA Equitation Mundial in Cali, Colombia 2022

  • 1st Place IPHA International, November 2022

  • 2nd Place Grand National Championship Show, September 2023

  • 1st Place Miami Winter Festival, January 2023

  • 1st Place Miami Spring Festival, March 2023

  • 1st Place Spectrum International Champion, 2024

  • Selection for Team USA in Equitation Mundial in Puerto Rico, July 2024

Although her accolades are impressive now at the age of seven, they are not what solely defines Mila.

Mila excels academically and loves all animals, including her two dogs. She has a large family who support her passion and talent, including her parents, grandparents, siblings, and aunts.

Mila is very much like the quote we opened with. She wins through her character, and her greatest asset is the passion and joy she radiates while in the saddle. Her smile lights up the arena every time she performs. Beauty and confidence radiate within her, and she is able to show it all to those who watch her ride.

Her next goal is to get to Puerto Rico in July 2024, and have the honor to represent our great country on Team USA.

Mila is an example of what determination, practice, and perseverance looks like. I hope Mila can be an example for children who love sports but, most importantly, love horses. Her horse, Navidenia del Paso, is truly her best friend and a testament of what a horse will give for their young rider. We are so excited to continue this journey and hope you will continue to follow us. We are on a mission to open the Paso Fino world to more audiences while keeping in mind the sanctity and beauty of our horses.

Mila’s dream is to become a world champion and continue competing year round doing what she loves most! In order to accomplish her goals she is looking for sponsors that would be interested in helping her get there.

Sponsors will have their logo/business promoted at all events, social media, and worn on Mila’s uniform! If you’re interested in this sponsorship opportunity, please DM @milapasofino to become a sponsor. Or call her manager, Olga Guerra at (786)325-1657.

Thank you all in advance!
